THE fifth season of Sisters Who Make Waves might have South Korean girl band Blackpink’s Rose making an appearance in China’s popular music reality show, China Press reported.
The news went viral after the list of artistes, who will purportedly make an appearance in the show, was leaked in Chinese social media platform Weibo.
The list also named another South Korean-American singer Krystal Jung, the younger sister of Jessica from Girl’s Generation, as well as American singer songwriter Ailee, dubbed “Queen of Korean Iron Lung Songs”, making an appearance in the show.
Oftentimes, the list of artistes would be “leaked” online before the show was aired and it could be rather credible.
However, Rose’s fans were sceptical of the news. Some were saying that Rose, who is only 26 this year, would not be considered as a “sister” in the industry nor qualify under the show’s age criteria, which features stars above 30 years old.
Another commented that “Rose might be invited but it is impossible for her to join the show”.

The person bought the winning lottery on Sept 2 with China Sports Lottery, and despite the winner being announced, the prize has not been claimed.
According to regulations, the prize would be invalidated if it is not redeemed in two months. As there are only three weeks left, netizens are worried that the winner might have forgotten about it.
If remained unclaimed, the prize money will be forfeited and go to a welfare fund.
