A WELFARE home located in Lenggeng, Negri Sembilan were the happy recipients of aid in the form of groceries and home appliances from a gaming operator.
Da Ma Cai, through its Staff-in-the-Community programme, provided the aid to Persatuan Kebajikan Kanak-Kanak Sosial Semenyih Sejiwa Hati (PKKSSSH) during their visit on Deepavali.
After a tour around the home, the volunteers spent quality time with the children by making Deepavali craft together.
The home’s co-founder Kavivarma Jaganathan said, “We recently moved from Semenyih to Lenggeng to provide better accommodation for the children.
“It is a lovely neighbourhood with good support from the residents here.”
He said the home’s washing machine was no longer functioning and was too costly to repair.

“The company’s generous donation of one large-capacity washing machine was timely.
“As for the high-pressure gas stove donated by Da Ma Cai, it will enable co-founder Datuk Matthew Adekelasamy to cook multiple dishes concurrently,” he said.
Da Ma Cai marketing communications manager Veron Ng said they were keen to always help non-governmental organisations such as PKKSSSH.
“We also organised a fun and easy art and craft session with the children during our visit,” said Ng.
“Our festive wish was to create a mesmerising ambiance that brings a sense of joy for the children,” he added.
On an annual basis, Da Ma Cai actively supports various causes in education and social welfare through a wide range of programmes and activities in the country.
PKKSSSH was founded in 2017 by Matthew and Kavivarma.
