FIRST-TIME homeowner Hazziq Haiqal, 28, was overjoyed upon getting his Rumah Selangorku unit at Saujana Permai in Shah Alam.
“It was a dream come true for me and my wife to have our new apartment.
“I work nearby so the location is convenient for us.
“We are really satisfied with the apartment,” said the accountant, adding that he would now be busy shopping for furniture.
Hazziq was one of the buyers of Aurora Apartments in Jalan Bukit Melawati U17/9, Saujana Permai, Shah Alam, who received their keys to the property.
A key handover ceremony was organised at the apartments compound.
Located on a plot of 1.15ha, the project by Johawaki Development Sdn Bhd (JDSB) has 90 units, 220 parking bays and 44 motorcycle parking bays.
Other facilities include a multipurpose hall, kindergarten, playground, guard house, management office and disabled-friendly lifts.

Each unit is about 1,000sq ft, has three bedrooms and two bathrooms, and is priced at RM185,000.
Selangor housing and culture committee chairman Borhan Aman Shah said the state envisioned building 60,000 units of Rumah Selangorku by the end of 2025.
“We will have 45,000 affordable Rumah Selangorku houses by the end of this year,” he said, adding that the quality and design of Aurora Apartments met Selangor Housing and Property Board (LPHS) guidelines.
Johawaki Group deputy chief executive officer Mohamad Akmal Johari said the project was completed ahead of schedule.
JDSB will contribute additional facilities such as a surau that can accommodate 300 people.
It will be built in front of Aurora Apartments as part of their corporate social responsibility programme.
JDSB is a fully-owned bumiputra subsidiary of Johawaki Holdings Sdn Bhd, which was incorporated in 1983 as a property development and project management company.
The subsidiary has 40 years of experience in property development with projects such as Avanti Residences, Avanti Square and Thea Residences.
Also present at the key handover event were JDSB chairman Azizan Mohd Sidin and Selangor state deputy secretary (development) Datuk Johary Anuar.
