Actress chastises naysayer over ‘granny’ remark

ACTRESS Jasmin Hamid (pic) has hit back at a netizen who called her a grandmother due to the age gap with her husband, Kosmo! reported.

Jasmin, whose full name is Jasmiah Abdul Hamid, 52, said: “What did I do wrong to you? You are not even a follower of my social media.

“You come to my domain and leave a comment like this. Do you know that you have hurt my feelings? Most importantly, you have denied the greatness of God,” she said on TikTok.

The Spa Q drama actress, however, said she has forgiven the individual.

“You forget that marriage, sustenance and death are all in God’s hands.

“That was how I was matched with a young husband, indeed a provision from God.

“It’s okay. I forgive your mistakes and pray for you to be guided so that you can be a better human being and benefit others,” she said.

The incident started when an individual left the comment “Grandma with her grandchild” under a video of Jasmin celebrating her second wedding anniversary with her husband, Nazmir Abdul Rahim, who is 14 years her junior.

Among the settlements involved are Pos Bihai, Pos Simpor, Pos Pasik and Pos Lebir in Gua Musang, Kelantan.

In the latest incident on Saturday, residents of Kampung Suma, Pos Bihai, caught a glimpse of the wild elephants.

The animals had previously damaged houses and destroyed crops there.

Residents claimed that after the attack, the settlement is now left looking “flat like a field”.
