LEADING household retailer Harvey Norman has opened its 33rd store at Sunway Carnival Mall in Seberang Jaya, Penang.
The new Harvey Norman Sunway Carnival Superstore offers a conducive shopping environment, with a wide range of electrical appliances, IT and mobile devices, furniture and bedding products.
This latest 40,000sq ft Harvey Norman outlet is the fourth in Penang, said Elitetrax Marketing Sdn Bhd chief operating officer Jonathan Toh.
“Dedicated to meeting consumers’ evolving shopping behaviour and busy lifestyle, Harvey Norman aims to empower Penangites with a seamless omni-channel experience.
“At Harvey Norman, we understand our customers’ needs and strive to bring convenience right to their doorstep,” he said in his speech during the opening.

Toh added that this convenience included access to services such as product exchange and easy payment options.
There is payment flexibility such as instalments for up to 48 months on all major banks’ credit cards and Buy Now Pay Later (BNPL) options.
Also present at the opening was Sunway Carnival Mall general manager Chai Wen Yew who welcomed Harvey Norman to the shopping centre.
“The opening of this outlet further elevates our mall’s emphasis on digitalisation and sustainability with Harvey Norman’s extensive range of the latest mobile devices, high-tech electricals, state-of-the-art gaming and modern computers, eco-friendly furniture and bedding products.

With Harvey Norman’s presence in Seberang Jaya, customers can “Shop with Confidence,” from top brands, complemented by customer-centric initiatives such as price guarantees, same-day delivery, product care options and a 14-day exchange policy.
To celebrate the latest outlet, Harvey Norman’s grand opening sale will run until June 30.
Harvey Norman is an Australian brand with a flagship store at IPC Shopping Centre in Mutiara Damansara, Selangor.
Toh announced plans to open more stores in Batu Pahat, Johor and Elmina in Shah Alam, Selangor.
A Harvey Norman store is also set to open later this year in one of the northern region’s largest shopping complexes, Sunshine Mall in Bandar Baru Air Itam, Penang.
