New Penang landmark designed with future in mind

Stark Executive Suite, a 34-storey building featuring 618 luxurious suites and 26 commercial units scheduled for completion in 2028, looks set to be the latest landmark for The Light Waterfront Penang in Gelugor.

Situated on a 0.93ha site alongside Lin Xiang Xiong Art Gallery, the freehold project by Stark Development Sdn Bhd will have a comprehensive range of exclusive services.

These services include the Stark Lounge, Stark Yacht on The Sea, Stark Waterfront Retail, Stark Super 3D LED, Stark X-Perience Club, Stark Suites and Stark in The Sky.

This groundbreaking development will seamlessly integrate cutting-edge artificial intelligence (AI) technology with forward-thinking green practices, redefining coastal living for the 21st century.

Stark Development deputy chairman Datuk Toh Chin Leong and managing director Leon Lee are bringing a blend of innovation and tried-and-tested methodologies to the company’s inaugural project.

Toh was formerly IJM Land Bhd (Northern Region) senior general manager and also ex-Real Estate and Housing Developers Association Penang chairman.

Lee, meanwhile, is founder and group chief executive officer of Zeon Properties Sdn Bhd.

In his introduction of the project, Lee emphasised that the landmark building would feature state-of-the-art development meticulously designed to optimise energy consumption, waste management and overall resource efficiency.

“Stark Executive Suite is going to be an amazing new building designed with the future in mind, combining smart technology and eco-friendly ideas to create a new way of living by the coast.

“This goes in line with our company’s tagline ‘Crafting Green, Smart Futures’,” Lee said of the project which features suites with a built-up area of between 425sq ft and 650sq ft.
